Family Walk and Learn: Spring Has Sprung!

Spring has arrived at Powisset Farm!

This time of year at Powisset, Farmer Tim and his crew are busy planting crops while Mother Nature is getting the forests and field plants growing!  Join a Trustees Ranger on a guided hike through the fields of Powisset Farm to look for signs of spring wildflowers and new growth. While hiking, we will learn about the importance of the wild landscape of the fields surrounding the farm and why these open spaces are important to the farm’s success. 

After the hike we will go back to the barn to make wildflower seed balls you can take home and plant.

Please note, though we love dogs, they are not allowed at Powisset Farm.
